Family is everything in Hope Valley so when Allie's Grandfather is arrested, Elizabeth encourages Nathan to investigate whether his father really committed the crime. Jesse and Clara are planning their wedding which continues to grow despite their initial commitment to keep it small. Bill notices that everyone is helping with the wedding and is feeling left out until Clara asks him if he would be the one to give her away. The joy of planning the wedding is interrupted when Rosemary becomes ill and Faith misses her trip to Chicago to help.
