RankThatMovie exists to help you decide what to watch. To keep your trust, we keep a hard separation between what we earn money from and what we recommend.
Scores are never for sale
Radar scores, rankings and editorial verdicts are produced by our own methodology from quality, momentum, freshness, reach and confidence signals. No payment, sponsorship or affiliate relationship can change a score or a ranking. Commercial placements never affect editorial scoring.
Advertising is clearly marked
When advertising is shown, each ad is visually distinguishable from editorial movie cards and is labelled (for example “Advertisement”). We avoid ad formats that resemble buttons, results or navigation.
Affiliate links
Some outbound “where to watch” links may become affiliate links. If you use one and make a qualifying purchase, RankThatMovie may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not affect Radar scores, rankings or editorial verdicts, and any affected link is disclosed at the point of use, not only in the footer.
Independence from studios and platforms
RankThatMovie is independent and is not endorsed by, certified by, or partnered with any studio or streaming service. We link to official, legal services and never to piracy sources.
Corrections
If you believe a recommendation or label is wrong, tell us. We use uncertainty language rather than definitive claims, and we welcome corrections.
